Beginner's Guide
Essential Information
- Always equip your bow in the left hand and your primary weapon in the right hand.
Burst arrows scale with both character level and magic level, making them effective for all vocations. This setup enables combined damage output from both your weapon and burst arrows simultaneously.
Vocation Overview
- Elder Druid (ED): Exceptional in PvP combat
- Elite Knight (EK): Well-rounded and versatile
- Royal Paladin (RP): High burst damage with lower defense
- Master Sorcerer (MS): Excellent for PvE encounters
First Steps on Rookgaard
Starting area map – Rookgaard
Upon your first login, you'll begin in Rookgaard (Rook). Your primary objective is to reach level 10, then visit the Oracle to advance to the mainland.
Map legend:
- Red areas: Monster hunting zones
- Green marker: Oracle location – transports you to the mainland
Progressing on the Mainland
Essential starting items:
- Life Ring (regenerates 10 HP/MP per second)
- Starting Weapons: All vocations use bow + weapon + burst arrows
- Knights: Obtain Starter Pack, then upgrade via Knights Dream
- Mages: Get Magician's Staff
- Paladins: Complete the Throwing Star
